Tanya Aksamentova is an architect and developer by trade, focusing on sustainable communities, organic growth and responsible design. In her professional tenure, Tanya has sat on several local, state, and national boards before joining the WEDC. Tanya has a degree in Architecture with a focus in business, political ecology, atmospheric science and sustainability. In her free time, Tanya volunteers with the Red Cross, Veterans Association of America, Civilian Air Patrol and other organizations focused on community health and poverty alleviation.
When Tanya is not serving on the WEDC or developing across San Antonio, she is planning overseas trips with her Army veteran fiancé and their two lovable pups. As a private pilot, Tanya is fascinated with aviation, world history and museums.
